Here our first day in Beijing. Again the Chinese do not fail to impress.
We are traveling on our own and don't go with a group or other tour guide. Corinne has learned a bit Chinese. We had to get a transportation card. With this you can travel by metro, bus and ferries. There are fantastic apps these days for finding your way around. Today we got a card and traveled from our hotel (PanPacific) to a park North of the Forbidden city. From this park you have a view over the Forbidden City. After this we walked to the Hutong area to have something to eat.
