On Lantau Island the buddha can be visited by taking the cable car

All these steps lead to a very big Buddha, which itself is 34m tall. To make this Buddha on this mountain was not an easy thing to do. Inside is a wooden skeleton, which is cladded with Bronze plates. It is very peaceful up there with beautiful views of the surrounding hills of Lantau Island.
